to Brooklyn
Maya grew up in the kitchens of Tbilisi, watching her grandmother shape khinkali by hand and knead dough for khachapuri before sunrise. Those mornings smelled of fresh bread, melted cheese, and the promise of a shared table.
In 2018, she brought those recipes across the ocean to a small kitchen on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn. What started as weekend pop-ups became a neighborhood institution — a place where every meal feels like coming home.
Today, our kitchen still makes khachapuri the old way: by hand, with sulguni cheese, and with the same love that traveled 6,000 miles to get here.
